As part of a benefit concert for the reconstruction of Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Barenboim and meet on 15 March 2011 in the Berlin Philharmonie each other. Rattle conducts the Staatskapelle Berlin , Barenboim is soloist in Beethoven's Third Piano Concerto. In addition, the second act of Richard Wagner's Tristan and Isolde sounds with a fine quartet of soloists: Violetta Urmana , Lioba Braun, Robert Dean Smith and Franz Josef Selig . All proceeds of the concert is intended for ongoing since last summer renovation of the opera building Unter den Linden.
